With a keen eye for design and the hard-work and grit to follow, owner of BLD Services, Stephen Carpenito, has set out to bring the creative vision of landscapes to a masterful reality. Building his business, under the name "Ballston Lawn and Landscaping," from the ground up started was no small feat. Beginning in the mowing and lawncare business at the age of 20, Stephen hit the ground running caring for hundreds of lawns in the Saratoga County area. During these dedicated and hardworking years, Stephen was able to establish himself in the community he grew up to love. while building long-lasting relationships with many in the community. Having a burning passion and desire to design and install landscapes, Stephen sold the mowing and maintenance portion of the business to Joe Ricci and reconstructed and rebuilt the business once again. With the support of many existing clients, Stephen was able to plant roots and establish his growing and changing business under the new name BLD Services. With "BLD" standing for "Ballston Landscape Design," the intention was to dedicate his business name to the place he loves and calls home. For the last several years, Stephen has been designing, creating, and building artful and functional landscapes. He believes every space should be as equally beautiful as they are functional and strives to make each landscape design unique to each client and their needs. Merging the two concepts has allowed Stephen to inspire those around him with his beautiful designs thus bringing life and meaning to his motto: Designing the future of landscapes.
